Review

This isn’t a stand-alone novel and there is at least another book out there. From the cover I expected the story to be a little more “old-fashioned”, but I wasn’t disappointed to discover it was set in the present day (I really should have guessed that from the blurb!).

A short read, but a pleasant read, there’s no great depth of emotion or writing in this novel, but that’s not a bad thing. It kept my interest, in spite of a bit too much repetition, and I was quite disappointed when it ended. I will certainly read the next book – I became quite attached to Caity!

A light summer read, perfect for wittering away a couple of hours.
