Me and Mr Jones by Lucy Diamond
Meet the women in love with three very different brothers . . .
Izzy's determined to escape her troubled past with a new start by the sea - but flirtatious Charlie Jones is causing complications.
Alicia's been happily married to loyal Hugh for years but secretly craves excitement. Maybe it's time to spice things up?
Emma's relationship with David was once fun and romantic but trying for a baby has taken its toll. Then temptation comes along . . .
As the future of the family's B&B becomes uncertain, Izzy, Alicia and Emma are thrown together unexpectedly. It seems that keeping up with the Joneses is harder than anyone thought . . .
I really enjoyed this. Three very different brothers and three very different women, and one awful mother-in-law - but all of the characters grow and develop throughout the story, and the ending is most satisfactory, indeed! There are some more difficult parts, in terms of subject matter, but Ms Diamond handles them with her usual skill and panache, and the storyline is sound.
Another delight from this author.
About the Author

After graduating, she worked in publishing and at the BBC, and in her spare time she began writing children’s books under a number of different pen names. Two small children later, an evening class in creative writing motivated her to try a longer piece of fiction and explore some of her own feelings about motherhood. This eventually became a novel, Any Way You Want Me, and she was thrilled when Pan Macmillan made her an offer of publication. Now the author of fourteen novels and a Sunday Times bestselling author, Lucy writes with warmth and honesty about the joy and surprises, as well as the complications, that love, family and friendships can bring.
